Hello everyone! Today I manage to beautify the visuals of the game!

I learned how to use the post-processing system in Unity. Very simple to use. I don’t know why I had the thought of it being difficult!

There are quite a lot of effects to choose from. The most prominent one for me was Color Grading.

Color grading is a must to enhance the values and colors of your game. I am an artist by heart, so the logic comes naturally as I always adjust color.

I played around with the other effects, and to be honest, most of them are overkill. A simple, subtle color enhancement did it for me.

Here is a before shot without post-processing:

Here is an after shot with post-processing:

The changes are subtle but evidently better in my opinion!

I have implemented asteroids to spawn along with enemies and power-ups. It adds to the space scene! It also adds diversity. So why the hell not?

I made some tweaks with the projectiles. I shorten them a bit. The elongated look annoyed me after a while. So now they’re short and cool!

That is all for today. A short one indeed. The next progress update will about sound FX, and I am excited about that!

Thank you for your time!
